my parents used to be very excited about giving out treats too....
but at some point the kids are getting out of control squeezing both hands inside the basket...
And then some dudes (older teens) knock on the door in their
"teenage-costume" (reg. sweatshirt&jeans) and say "Trick or Treat" in
shaq o'neal voice.... 
I was like... dude... you look for kit-kat or trying to rob me....???
Therefore... we stopped the treats..... peace of mind...
