Do you, or maybe folks that have had this mod for a while, know if the delay is a harmless side effect? Meaning, it's not a symptom of another problem, or won't cause another problem?

I pulled the fuse in my '09 Touring yesterday (or was it the day before?) and do not have any delay (just double-checked), but maybe it takes a few starts for the system to learn that the SL has been disabled.
My
guess as to what may be causing the delay: there is a signal from the SL relay contacts back to the computer that I
think tells the computer that the SL motor has been energized. Since this signal is missing when the fuse is pulled, the computer waits a few seconds to see if it appears. Only problem I see with my theory is that not all owners are reporting the delay problem. I'm still investigating exactly what the "SL motor has been energized" input is, but don't have high hopes of finding out without better documentation (not likely as Nissan considers it proprietary).
