Sorry about your car brother, but again, the reason why I don't check my oil until the day I take it in... I want catastrophic failure...

Also, if you're in SoCal and need any recommendations on which dealer to take it to so they can hook it up and maybe help with the engine replacement, give me a shout, and/or if you need a ride anywhere or someone to call at corporate, I can help you with that too.


LASTLY, call corporate, bitch and moan that just a regular mechanic did the engine rebuild (sorry bro, but 99% chance, just a regular not specialized mechanic did it, and I don't trust them with anything more than brake pad changes) But call them and tell them the car doesn't feel right, and since it had the oil consumption issue, your car has been devalued, MAKE SURE you keep telling them that (IMO it ADDS value), but Nissan has been known to issue checks ($$$ kind of checks) to owners who have had engine replacements, about $1000... And if you keep jabbing at them telling them it doesn't feel right, and it doesn't feel safe to drive they'll at least send out a master tech to test and check everything on your car
