It's possible, you never know, since these cars have plastic bumpers they tend to pop back out
And I know. In these modern cars ANY accident feels HUGE, someone slammed on their brakes on the freeway and I was in my '09 Maxima, and I must have hit the person at less than 5mph, but holy crap it sounded and felt bad, the only damage was an imprint of the trucks tow hitch in my bumper... (Wasn't my fault, woman had dropped a water bottle and slammed on the brakes trying to pick it up)
And with the Z, my buddy was driving to school so I could read and he pulled into the parking space, coasted to maybe half a mile per hour and hit the wall, luckily I had my tow hook installed, so no damage, but it was a hell of a jolt (and yeah, I'd let him drive again)
I know it's nice to have nice things, but at the end of the day, it's just a damn car...
OP, I don't care how fast or not fast the guy was going, but at least you and your girlfriend are safe! (FILE A POLICE REPORT)
And since you're in LA, if you need anything, body shop, ride anywhere, whatever, give me a heads up (unless you're in Louisiana, then I can't help you, lol)
