I haul my dogs around every now and then, so I went to O'Reilly's and bought one of the cheapest ($19.99 + tax) covers they had for the passenger seat. The one I got was an Auto Expressions X-Line. It had drawstrings for adjustment and, after some fiddling around, fit rather well. Not a perfect fit, but really good for a cheap seat cover. And it didn't affect air bag deployment when I hit that tree - ripped the hell out of the cover, but a new one was cheap. I don't think it would hold up well over time if I used the passenger seat much, but great for temporary protection.
