Even the stock finish can get scratches and chips over time but of course stock can withstand some abuse without getting chipped so easily like aftermarket paint and when that happens you repaint it again.
There is a DIY tutorial somewhere here. It's a hassle. haha I still haven't installed my EVO-R fog light yet. haha
