You really should be flushing, not just bleeding, the brakes at the very least every two years regardless of how hard you drive the car. Brake fluid absorbs water over time from the atmosphere and loses its ability to do its job, as well as causing corrosion inside your brake system.

Ideally you should do a complete brake flush once every year (hey, it's like $20 tops if you do it yourself), every six months if you're going to the track.
