search 3d planes on you tube. most of the stunts do not make them look like they are out of control. they are slow flying, stunt planes. you can make them hover, or hover and move sideways (looks like camera tricks when you watch almost). VERY hard to fly, just like helicopters.

id say my favorite RC sport is boats, by a long way. it took awhile before i jumped on board with my friends since they dont "sound" fun, but man, what a blast. ive got a fiberglass boat that is about 3' long, weighs about 45 lbs, but does north of 70mph. low maintence, hold up in crashes, all around very fun when you get them on a course to race.
