I am actually good friends with my mechanic and I believe I have seen him use the sniffer in the exhaust. I'm assuming just for his own satisfaction to make sure everything is running right with the cars he is working on. But, I would never ask him to do anything that could put his shop in jeopardy.

So what you're saying is.. HFC's will fail the sniffer test?

If so..If I were to just swap the exhaust and intake I assume I'd be fine to pass the sniffer as long as my stock cats are on..

Right now I was just checking out the Berk website.. and on their HFC it says..OBDII & 49 state compliant. So is that suggesting that they will pass emissions just as good as stock cats?
