the story behind this bogus

Gentlemen,

Over the past 5 months we have struggled to get NYC officials to give the New York Motor Club a permit to shut down a street along Times Square. Well the wait is over!

Vince Marrone has been amazingly persistent with the mayors department, police department, and the Big Brother Big Sisters of NYC to obtain the necessary paperwork from the city.

We have been granted permission to hold the first car show in Times Square. This event is benefiting the kids of Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation and will be held on Saturday Night, October 3rd.

We have the northern curbside and side-walk shut down on 45th St, from Broadway (Times Square) to 6th Avenue which can hold approximately 35 to 40 cars. This event will be held from 5:30pm to 11pm. This show is filling up fast and we need to diversify, so get in early as we cannot accept everyone. After the show, we are going to a restaurant uptown for food and beverages, so plan accordingly.

We are asking for a $200 donation to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Charity (qualifies as a tax deduction) to park your car for the evening. If you are interested in joining us in NYC, please RSVP with me and indicate which car you will be bringing. (Please make checks payable to Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC )

If you are interested, please respond with the following information in the body of the email. (for registration purposes)

Name:
Car (Make, Model, Year)
Email Address
Cell Phone:

(we are also looking for volunteers to help with parking, tables, handouts, directions, etc...please indicate this in your email as well)

We have spent many months preparing for this evening, so it should be an amazing night for our participants and corporate sponsors. I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Thanks guys

-Larry
