Even without snow, the cold temperatures would require all season tyres because high-performance summer rubber turns to stone in the winter and has a tendency to chunk, ruining the tyres pretty quickly.
I could subject my Z to salt and gravel, and hog up the interior with winter's muck...
But I don't. I have a beater truck that sits up high, has all season tyres and 4WD.
