My advice would be to drive the car for a while and watch the needle. Determine if pushing the oil temps high is even a risk, given your driving parameters. And then decide if an oil cooler is necessary at that point.
If you have any aspirations to track the car, you will need an oil cooler, and it is advised that you swap to better braking fluid and racing brake pads if that is the case.

No fooling. I am the person you described. 59-60 ambient temperature and 260+ driving home.
I got an oil cooler and even flogging it at the track has never yielded over 260. I once hit 260 at the track on a 99 degree day. I consider this a cheap
solution not a band aid.
