I wouldn't expect to have significant muting of the exhaust note if you do a door install. Trunk would have more impact. Since you work for them, maybe you have access to a piece that is about the total amount you'll need for one door. If so, drape that over the door and see for yourself if it is noticeably heavier.

I haven't yet done my install because I still have some things in my mind. First thought was should I do door or trunk - I leaning toward trunk because I think it will have more impact on overall road noise and even though I have the same exhaust concerns (w/o the exhaust yet tho ) I drive with windows down 90% of the time which makes the exhaust point moot. Second, I started thinking about giving you back the sample and getting the 80 mm for the entire car. I'm just not sure how much is needed. You can text or PM me a quote if you want
