You will need an UpRev ECU license to allow a shop, or yourself, to provide tuning services to the car. The UpRev license and software is essentially the "middle man" that is allowing modifications to be made to the mapping stored on the ECU. You can tune the car on the road or on the dyno with this software.

Tuning is a great way to get the most out of the car regardless of modifications. At the very least by cleaning up air fuel ratio and smoothing ignition timing you will achieve better drive-ability and smoother power delivery. Peak numbers might not be impressive while the car is N/A, but still worthwhile. Boosted applications have all the fun as you just turn the boost up another 2psi for an additional ~20whp over the already monster gains from going to F/I!
