Based on the decibel levels on Ark's website the DT-S is slightly louder than the GRiP at ~3000 rpm, right? Regardless, I'm not looking for crazy, all-the-time loud. To echo someone else on this forum,
part of the reason we all get exhausts is so we can hear them. I don't want to shell out money solely for passer-by's enjoyment . . . I'd like to enjoy how the thing sounds, too.
I figure if I want it a skoche louder I can either throw on test pipes or hfc (as you eluded to) or take the resonators off like the Nismo in the video on page 2 apparently did . . . prolly not the latter.
From what it sounds like, though, it's still noticeably louder than the stock exhaust, correct?
