checked out your post. did you have to have an alignement each time you went from the smaller rim to back to your summer 19's? I had almost the same setup on my Pontiac Solstice. Drove like a champ in the snow with the winter tires. Well, that and learning to drive in the snow growing up in the mid-west probably didn't hurt either.
