100k miles on any coilovers and the car would have zero shock left to it, no matter what sort of pavement conditions it had seen. All he would be using would be the springs.

To the OP, you need to really define what it is you're using this for, in as great a detail as possible, or all you're going to end up with is very generalized suggestions. The more details you provide, the better.

You absolutely can make the wrong choice. Grouping a Stance or BC in with an HKS and KW is like comparing a YUGO to your 370Z. They have nothing in common with one another aside from both generally being called adjustable coilovers.
