I'm very interested to see what you end up with. I'm planning a similar setup for my Nismo once it makes the journey from Japan. I'm also an Alpine fan, but was looking at them only for the HU and instead doing JL Audio for speakers.
I'm especially curious about your sub decision. Any reason why you chose what you did as opposed to a ZEnclosure..?
