get some painter's tape blue and mask off the area that are prone to scratching (including your LCD..use sticky side out dont tape directly onto the screen). that's wat i usually do for interior installs.

also a good thing to have a towel handy when you need to place the head unit against your shifter, etc. i didn't remove my shifter ring when i did my install.



btw, thanks for all the picts on this thread. it really helped me out on the install. i just wanted to contribute something back. lol
