I think it doesn't have to be one or the other. The designers need to be let loose on the next GT-R. The R35 still had one foot in the legacy design and it shows...some for the better...but some for the worst. A lot of people still see a big sedan with two less doors instead of a bonafide supercar. It needs to be a little bit more grown up, but more viceral in terms of delivering the performance. It needs to have all the high tech wizardry without being robotic.
