How to make a CE28 +12 front offset fit without rubbing
I've searched the forums on how to fit a 19x9.5 +12 offset in the front and the best solution I found is to roll the fenders. But I've also come across a problem of hitting the front bumper clip even after the fender roll.
I'm thinking of a fender gap where you can fit a finger or around ~.5 inch gap from the fender to the tire. That will be my max drop as the roads here are really bad. I will also use the stock tires for the CE28 which is the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 245/40/19 for the front. As much as possible I don't want to use and buy camber arms to increase any negative camber.
The rear fits no problem.
I came across a good deal for a set of CE28's and the only reason that I haven't bought it yet is because of the +12 offset in the front.
So, anyone here have a similar set up with what I have in mind? Was the fender roll enough to completely eliminate any rubbing issues? Or did you have to modify anything to avoid any rub to the bumper clips?
Thanks in advance.
