sry to see this tho.hope it will get fixed soon. I used to get this kind of situation too on my Rx8. I was parking it in front of my house and went to Thailand for summer when I got back. My tail light is broken into pieces, and I know it was hit by a basketball from a kid who live beside me.
I didnt even get money or apologize from them, and it's suck as hell that the deductible is higher than replacing a tail light myself.
