ehh not really im just saying like when i would autoX them and stuff i would turn it off (never on the street though thats just dumb) but with the GTR its supposed to stay on pretty much as all times as it interacts with the car very differently than the Z. with the Z its like an afterthought or an added bonus its we built this nice handling RWD car and we added VDC to it to make it safer.. with the GTR they whole car was pretty much built around the system as its sort of like the mother brain.

so saying its a babysitter is derogatory, and thats not what im getting at. its just VDC is an integral part of the GTR the Z could live without it to more of an extent. the diffs will sort out a lot of what you are doing with or without VDC thats true and if your going to be breaking the next record at the ring you might benefit with it off for a super aggressive style but your average owner up to occasional weekend warrior its probably in their best interest to leave it on for the sake of the car the warranty and themselves

ive never turned VDC off on any of my GTRs for the last 4 years and ive done autoX track and the strip regularly its not intrusive at all in race mode it will let you slide all over the place.

now all that is said based on a GTR with stock or stockish power behaves..once these guys start tuning the ECU and TCM with all this and that its a different story and thats not really my scene
