Yes, and take a look around, does the place look clean and organized (professional). Are they actively working on similarly priced or higher cars when you are there (cash flow)? IS the work they are doing in the same range as the work you want, a place that only does intakes and exhausts isn't the place you want to do something that needs a lot of engine work.
Just like the look of a person will tell you a lot about them same goes for a shop.
