Interesting vid. Funny as well.
Word of mouth is by far the best policy in my book... also repeat stories of good / or bad instances are a good reference to a shop's reputation. A desperate shop would do anything to attract publicity while a busy shop has no time for such things. You don't want to bring in your car to a shop that isn't busy, you might get the car in at the time you want, but at what cost? Your car might end up being the car to pay for that week's bills
Best advice to any and all... Visit the shop, and just talk to the staff and the owner. Its easy to tell a bs'er from a real person. If you feel pressured, or uncomfortable, walk away. Gut instincts are almost certainly right.
