It wouldn't surprise me a bit if there were some powertrain improvements for the 2014. Here's why:

The 370's platform mate the Infiniti G is going to be all new for 2014.
It has been said elsewhere that new engines are being introduced for the 2014 G.
Nissan likely needs/wants a bit more engine manufacturing economy of scale for these new engines than the G alone can provide.

Solution? New or revised engine for the 370. Let's just hope the new engine isn't a result of Nissan/Renault's recent alliance with Daimler.
