Smile Hi!

Hi, how all of ya doing? I wanted to introduce myself, before picking everyone's brain for their vast amount of knowledge on the 370Z!

My name is Mike, and I'm a proud new owner of a 2009 370Z Touring Sport. My riding name is Oso, and I ride with the San Jose, CA Ruff Ryders. My Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is my street & track weapon, and the Z is my new project/toy/grocery getter... maybe turned into my new Laguna Seca track toy too (idk yet).

I'm a car salesman, and work for a car dealership on the Monterey Peninsula, in California. That's how I picked up my lil gem of a car! I got it from a 60ish year old man who traded it in for a new Corvette. The car only had 18,000 miles on it. I actually used to have a 350Z and never really feel in love with the car. So, when we got this 370Z in on trade, I didn't have much interest in it at first. Then one day, I took a test drive with a customer, and instantly wanted to trade out my 350 for the 370. I told the customer that if he didn't buy it... I would. Surely enough, he thought it was a sales pitch, and decided to think about it. The next day, he came back and wanted to buy it! Sorry... the keys were already in my pocket, and my name on the temp registration!

Anyways, I've only done a couple things to it so far. First, I've installed 2 10" subwoofers with an amp. I found a pretty clean looking box on ebay that fits in the trunk compartment nicely. I rewrapped the box with padding and black vinyl. It looks so much better than the bs carpet that boxes always come with.

Secondly, I ended up replacing the front bumper with an aftermarket bumper from Exrtreme Demensions (Kind of crappy IMO, but it's too latre to cry over spilt milk). I replaced it because some jack-*** didn't secure his dump load properly, and I ended up smashing into his bed's box sprinng at 70mph on the freeway. So I figured why not go custom... perfect excuse too. So, $400 for a bumper, $60 on anodized black mesh, and $1500 to a body shop... I now have a dura-flex W-2 bumper from Extreme Demensions.

Next, since I had the front bumper off... it was the perfect time to install Stillen's Gen III long tube cold air intake system on the car... I absolutely love it, and installation was a sinch!!!

Finally, I've used the Z to rep my set, and used it as a rolling billboard, for the days that I don't ride the Ninja, and stickered the car out with Ruff Ryder logos, and signatures. I used a black or white reflective vinyl for all the decals. (Same stuff as found on highway road signs). So when light hits the decals at night, they look as if they're glowing.

Anyways... that's me in a nut shell. I'm sure curious minds will learn more about me over time. Also, thanks in advance for all the answers you all will generously provide me!!!
