That sounds worth building a prototype to me.

I'm all for that. Phase 1 is prototype and compare and contrast with the smooth tubes + K&N on factory airbox -- if it can't out flow that, then who cares?

There's exact pics (minus the 90* bend to secondary pipe+filter) of what I am thinking in the link in first post.
Otherwise, similar to that, but sealing
completely with OEM ducting rather than open like the ARC box, and of course the big CNC'd velocity stack inside.
Well, that's the idea anyway -- what there is or isn't room for is yet to be determined...
