I used to have a 45C. Sad to say I don't recommend them. Real nice ergonomics, and real smooth to shoot. But for some reason, about 1 out of every 10 shots or so, the hammer would fail to c0ck. Like I'd fire off a round, the slide would eject the shell and put another one into the chamber, but when the slide returned to battery, the hammer followed along rather than staying cocked back! Thinking it might just be my pistol, and went and tried another one. Same thing! Not sure what the deal is. That never happens on any of my other pistols. I've also had USPs, USP Compacts, and various other HK pistols like the P2000SK, and none of them did this.
