Yeah, I've been a big block muscle car fan for a long time, it is an end to an era, but I'm actually looking forward to lighter more efficient cars of the future.
I think my Turbo Mini changed my view on that, at 200hp and only 2500lbs it is way more fun to drive and as fast as my stock older Mustangs and Cameros were. I love the fact that I can get 26mpg out of a car that can do 0-60 in under 6 secs.
I like the look and sound of the new breed of muscle cars, but the current Mustangs, Cameros & Challengers are just way too heavy. The Challenger is over 4000 lbs!! that's just ridiculous. It is time for a change. Go out and test drive the new Lotus Exige S, you may have a change of heart too.
