Hey man,

Syncros and Syncro-Rev are two entirely different things.

Syncro-Rev (Nissan product ) is an added feature to the 'sport' trim 370z, that has a sensor within the transmission case to sense how fast the tranny is spinning when the clutch has disengaged the engine from the drive train. The sensor sends the signal to the ECU to match those revolutions with electronic throttle response which in turn give you smoother downshifting and I heard it works on upshifting as well.

Syncros are peices of hardware that are in ALL manual transmission vehicles. They are what allows you to shift into the 'gates' of each gear. If you ever have a person who cant get their car into certain gears at the correct speeds, there is a good chance their syncos within the gear box are shot.
