I installed a mishimoto thermostat and yes it does delay the warmup and with our cars if the optimum temp is not reached in a certain time the ecu will know this and a check engine light will come on and stay on. If u don't mind the light then yes get it but there is no fix for the light. I swapped my oem thermostat back in and the light went away. After writing mishimoto they admitted to this happening but they won't tell people before they buy it. Up to u I guess
