Good to hear! After reading a million reviews, people say that the RE970s have great traction in dry and wet, with a somewhat soft sidewall, attributed to the All Season nature of the tire. The tires do come with a 40k warranty, which is nice to know.

In any case, I did go ahead and take the plunge on the RE970AS'es, in sizes of 255/40/R19 and 295/30/R19. I still feel like it's a weird size combination, but I really wanted to plus size from stock sizes, and this was the closest you can get. I'll be having them delivered and installed on Thursday/Friday, and I will post a seperate thread with an initial review, and I'll continue to post back on it for anyone else interested in these.

I got the order done at Costco, who I might add priced LESS than Tire Rack after shipping, and also came with a coupon where if you buy 4 Bridgestone tires, you get $70 off the tires, and $30 off of their comprehensive install/balance/road hazard thing. Just something to note if anyone is looking to grab some tires soon!

I'll note something though: the price came out to 50 dollars more than Potenza S-04 PP in sizes of 265/285 F/R out the door. If the RE970AS'es indeed do have good traction, at least on par or better than the RE050A's, and long tread life, I will consider them money very well spent. There is no perfect tire, haha. Florida is too flat for insane spirited driving anyway. However, if they are bad, I'll definitely note that and steer clear from All Seasons ever again on this car.
