A trick to getting darker on the sides is getting either a 60% or 50% tint on the windshield, makes the 'stock' look darker, so your tint isn't as bad.
It's how I get away with 25% on the sides, 10% on the back. Because I have 50% on the front.

I don't want it dark for visibility reasons. I already have trouble driving. Being short sucks.
