A girlfriend of mine has a basically unfurnished bachelorette's apartment that I've been using to shoot in. Alas, it's not big enough to put up the seamless backdrop, so beat up hardwood floor and blank wall it is. I thought it had a loft kind of feel, but maybe I'm giving it too much credit.

It's been too damn hot and humid to shoot people outside. Fall can't get here soon enough!
