Not really something to brag about... On my way to Dallas there was a part where I got down to 3 dots (not even where the low gas light thing comes on) and i decided to check my GPS for gas stations.

Well it had one gas stations about 50 miles ahead of me or 25 miles in back of me... DOH. Anyway i thought with 3 dots it would be no problem but it burned through those last 3 dots extremely fast =(

I lucked out and there was a gas station 10 miles closer than what my GPS said. I ended up putting 18.5 gallons of gas in the car which I think is the most I have ever done. Glad I did not have to drive those additional 10 miles on a half a gallon of gas =P

Anyway I did 495 miles on a single tank. Was curious what some other people have done. I was driving 80-84 the whole way so I am sure there are some people who have done better than what I did.
