I've called several dealers around KC, one in Omaha, and one in Des Moines. The des Moines didn't have an allocation. The Omaha didn't currently have a allocation but for a $5k deposit I could be on their waiting list.
I told the guy that didn't make since for me to give them cash and they couldn't even garuntee me a car.
