I had the Tein FLEX w/ EDFC on my S2000 and overall I have no complaints. These coilovers are good without EDFC, and even better with it.
The EDFC really gives the driver control over the coilover's performance and with the push of a button can alter the luxury feel of the car on daily roads or stiffen the coilovers up for a hard day at the track. Just like with a muscle when it is relaxed and then
