#1 - The 2012 does come with a stock cooler. It runs coolant through a sandwich plate between the filter and the block.

#2 - No, that is the aftermarket Nismo kit. It is similar to the stillen and z1 coolers, just more expensive and, as noted, does not have a thermostatic plate option.

#3 - No, I would recommend the Z1 or Stillen setup. Personally, I liked the flexibility of the Z1 kit as it allowed a thermostatic plate, and choice of cooler sizes (19,25, & 34 row).

Nissan will not warranty the Nismo kit, but (just as the others) it will not void the warranty unless they can prove IT caused a problem.
