A lot of this info has been on here before but the 2012 does come with a small oil cooler. It runs the oil thru the radiator I think.

3.You can get the same size and brand of oil cooler with a thermo plate for less from a couple of other places for cheaper. Stillen has one, Z1 has a kit and some other companies.

Most people will say that it is better to have the thermo plate so your oil will get up to the proper operating temp quicker. The Nismo racing one does not have it.

You don't want your oil to run to hot but then again it has to get up to around 200 to protect your motor.
