I didnt think 1lb per corner would make that much of a difference but does 5 lbs a corner make a difference?

Also how wide can I go in front? will wider than a 9.5 in front make a difference? lets say if I did a square 10 or 10.5 set up?
I would go with the lighter strong wheel , no matter how bad or good they look , if its only for the track , who cares ! hehe
5lbs per corner in my book is a lot ! and can definatly help you a little bit.

as for the front wheel size ,, I wouldnt go with a 10.5'' because the wheel will definatly be outside of the fender and the 10'' +15 if there is one ..
you wouldnt be able to run a big tire anyway because they extend 6mm out t compare with the 9.5'' +15mm
I doubt you could run anything bigger than 275 if there is an 10'' +15offset

this is my guess , you can try it and give us more details !
