But in any case, the VSLD kinda sucks - it fails under excessive heat (which isn't too hard), and the VSLD part will wear out with enough hard miles anyways, which kills your limited slip for good until you get the VSLD clutch part replaced (which I imagine isn't cheap). I'm seriously thinking I should upgrade to a better LSD of some kind anyways, and change gears while I'm at it (probably just upgrade the 7AT one to the 6MT's stock gear ratio of 3.7-ish). Edit: VSLD is also less efficient than other kinds too, so upgrading can kill some drivetrain losses.
