I do live in California, but the shipping (only $750) with a private shipper was still well worth the cost... It should be arriving here before or near the beginning of Feb. So after doing all the math.. pretty much flying out there is 20 hours out of my time roundtrip.. plane ticket plus shipping came out to around $1000, but overall sacrificing my time would save me around 4k...
