yah, you shouldn't have to ship it anywhere. i think they're taking you on a dummy ride.

anyway, take picts of the tire before you ship and i suppose hope for the best the other 3 dont fail on you while your schedule frees up... it's not like you'd have a schedule to worry about if you're dead, but oh well..

personally, i would just raise the car, take a flash light and a mirror tool and just inspect. look for odd wear/separation lines. you dont even have to take it off the car.
