So after leaving the car at OC Nissan Irvine for a day, they compared it to a used Nismo Z34 they had on the lot and had me drive it. It was just as soft as mine is now, much much easier to drive than mine ever used to be as engagement is much more forgiving. The tech told me he doesn't think there's a problem.

I sat in a few new Zs they had and those clutches felt exactly like mine used to, it was such a dramatic change after that one shift with the initial 'pop'. I decided to drive it and see if anything happens since my friends in the service department told me if I think theres a problem, I tell them what to replace and they will warranty whatever I ask for. So huge thanks goes to the two Johns at OC Nissan Irvine.
