I've been in love with Nissan "Z" cars ever since my good friend Peter got one of the first models. The closest I could ever get to this beauty was to poke my head inside each new "Z" when it came out and drool on the seats.
When we moved back to Toronto from Calgary in 1995, my wife and me went for a walk after dinner and ended up at the Nissan dealer across from the hotel. One look at the new "Z" and the horrid little bug bit me again. The little charmer had once again wormed its way back into my dreams.
One Sunday three weeks ago, my gal and me were just driving around and I said let's go over to the Nissan dealer and poke around. The sales man said Employee pricing was being offered until July 3rd if I was interested. I asked him to try and find a Black Rose roadster with the Burgundy seats and top, if one was still available in Ontario. He did. I said get it. He said when. I said now. Aw the heck with being practical.
At long last, no more window shopping, the "Z" is finally mine. Yaaaaaaaahoooo! What a thrilling joy to drive. The only thing that stops me from motoring around endlessly is the price of gas.
