Test drove an FRS the other day and the thing lacked power... felt like a civic when speeding up to merge. The steering did feel great though, possibly better if not the same as my Z stock for stock imo. Two different cars for two different kinds of people imo, I don't get why people are arguing or trying to compare them lol. In my eyes, the BRZ/FRS is more for people who like tight courses like auto x and don't care too much for speed/torque. The BRZ/FRS isn't exactly sloow but it's not exactly fast either, the handling is amazing. The numbers on the paper alone should tell people that the cars are on two different classes in regards to power and $
There was a post in that thread with a guy saying that he finds it more fun to beat the sh*t out of his car to merge on the hwy, hearing all the right sounds and stuff... I don't know, maybe it's just me but I wouldn't want to have to beat the living hell out of my car just to be able to merge on the highway
Have done that before with my last civic lol. Much rather enjoy having the ability to pass people or merge on the hwy while keeping it under 4k rpm, and at the same time still have the option to downshift and WOT it to feel the tug while merging on the highway
