Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - 5000 rpm transmission noise. Please check yours as nissan says its normal

I also get the rattle or buzz noise right at 5000 rpm, so I just make sure never to stay there. It comes from the shifter and if I hold it down a bit it goes away, so it's in the bezel or shifter. It's annoying for sure but it's a narrow rpm range that it happens. There is some weird resonance thing happening.
