Yes. On DNX6140, if you press and hold NAV button, it'll permanently display rear cam regardless of the gear you're in. To disable, simply press any button. No modification needed. This is one of the cool features of Kenwood DNX series.
Living in crowded East Coast, I often find myself in small parking lot ( or parallel parking space) where I have to go back and forth multiple times. Keeping the camera "ON" permanently eliminates constant switching from the reverse gear.
