The CF will allow more sound to pass through it, so it will be slightly higher
volume, but one of the other attributes of the CF is that it will change the
tone of the exhaust ever so slightly to give it that exotic sound to it. Closer to a Lambo or Ferrari than previous VQ's, especially when paired with the LTH's.
Freer flow is of course a given, so HP and TQ is the same.
Weight wise, you're saving a few pounds over the SS system, but in all reality, when you're already dropping 40+ pounds vs the stock system, 1-2 for the CF isn't really going to matter unless you're worried about if your GF can fit or not...

Everyone has their personal preference (I believe they both look great in their own respects just because it's a sick exhaust) the CF I think looks better on cars with black or CF accents elsewhere on the car because as previously mentioned, it's the only exhaust with the CF option. On a black car, it's kinda up to the driver if it's worth it. Since the CF would get lost on the black. I think on a Red, Silver, and Blue Z it looks amazing.
The SS mufflers look just as good though, I love them on my black Z especially after Mothers wipe down to clean off the road grime, they just glisten under that bumper saying, "
No, I am not stock you derp. lulz."
